The long awaited premier of Heroes Season 3 has finally arrived. Tonight is the night that our Heroes return and I can say without a doubt that the anticipation is killing me. What do the writers over at NBC have up their sleeves this time?

Heroes returns after nearly 10 months (Monday, Sept. 22 at 9 pm/ET, NBC) with “Volume 3: Villains” — but just who are the good guys and who are the baddies? The season premiere kicks off with future Claire (Hayden Panettiere) trying to shoot future Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) to stop him from going back in time and committing a murder. Explosive events at the Company land matriarch Angela Petrelli (Christine Rose) in a new and powerful position. And Dr. Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) will finally get a superpower of his own — one that sends him down a dark and scary path.
“He injects himself with the serum he developed to cure Maya [Dania Ramirez] and doesn’t know how to control it,” reveals Ramamurthy. “It becomes a real Jekyll-and-Hyde thing. I never would have imagined that the genetics professor who’s been getting his ass kicked for two seasons would suddenly be the one who’s kicking ass.”

Or getting laid. Monhinder and Maya will have some extremely steamy encounters this fall — a first for the show. “Heroes is not known for romantic relationships because it would be so lame to have two people kissing and making eyes at each other when the world is at stake. We needed to go all the way in a raw and real way,” Ramirez says. “Our show is geared to the young, male audience. I think they’re ready for some sex. Heroe Season 3 Spoiler ahead!
Actor Robert Forster (Karen Sisco) will be appearing at some point in the upcoming Heroes season 3 episodes as a character with a special connection to at least three major characters.
That character is, of course, Arthur Petrelli, father to Nathan Petrelli and Peter Petrelli, and husband to Angela.
So will this be a flashback? Or is he still alive?! No word is known yet, but it is assumed that he is already filming, so expect him sometime within the first few episodes of Heroes Season 3.
Heroes season 3 looks promising! With the air date set to September 22, 2008 it seems to be just around the corner! The airing is scheduled to open a one hour prelude summarizing previous events followed by a 2 hour episode compromised of two parts, which will begin the journey into Heroes season 3!
The first episode will be ‘The future for Adam’ and ‘The Second Coming’. This two part episode opens the “Villians” arc and introduces a number of new story arcs and answers many lingering questions. Part one was screened at Comic Con International 2008 and was described as “final” by Tim Kring and was titled “The Second Coming: Part One.”
“Villains” was originally designed to be included within the second season; however, due to the writers’ strike, the volume was carried over into season three. The lead-in to “Villains” featured a scene with Sylar, which was shown as the final scene of the “Generations” finale. Throughout Volume Two, Sylar’s powers were suppressed by the Shanti virus.

— A new sexy villain? will be just as to the third season of Heroes, her name in the series will be Joy, she will be better known for getting into trouble just as quick as she got in the first place.
New turn of events and several twists are expected from the introduction of these characters who will add that much value to an already successful sci-fi yet realistic TV series.
